Drain Jetting

We use advanced techniques including Romford drain jetting to remove stubborn blockages. A high powered water system is used to clear pipes from the build up of fats, waste, roots and more.

Drain Rodding

The simplest and normally the first technique used to unblock drains is the use of drain rods, or drain rodding as it is known. A2B Romford drains are trained to use drain rods in a safe and effective manner.

CCTV Drain Survey

To avoid excavation of drains to find the source of the drainage problem our engineers are trained to carry out CCTV drain surveys. It is far cheaper and easier than digging out, exposing and breaking into a drain.

Drain Layouts
There are a variety of drain types currently in use in the UK. The most common is the communal drain, where a common drain in the road connects to each property individually. This is the easiest to clear, as each house only has one connection to the drain.

Some houses have a drain that runs under a row of houses, with a manhole cover placed at strategic points. This is problematic, as the blockage could come from either end of a house with a blockage, and permission must be obtained from the relevant occupiers to jet their manhole cover.

The least common option is the septic tank, most commonly employed in rural areas that do not have a mains drainage system. If you need to know how your drain is arranged, your sewage provider will be able to provide you with a map.

Testimonials

Customer Name: Brian Denton.
It gives me great pleasure to write this letter to express our gratitude to the engineer who visited our house on 2nd September. My wife said that Mr. Bradley was very helpful, explained what he had done and advised her how to avoid the problems in the future.  At a time when no one seems to have any pride in their work, it is a pleasure to be able to write and thank someone who has. Well done Mr. Bradley and thank you for the service.
